During the pandemic, there were a lot of changes in the business and economic landscapes which were intriguing and sparked my interest. I dug deeper and decided to combine my passion for these topics and writing to start my own blog. Slowly the idea of echo-nomist actually came alive and took shape in the form of a business and economic blog.
My goal is simple: echoing business and economic stories from around the world in simple to understand words.
You might notice how I refer to my articles as “stories” everywhere. I feel like there’s a story behind every company, every number, every stock market reaction. Numbers only make sense if backed by a narrative. Stories are more easily remembered than numbers hence “article” doesn’t convey the same meaning. Happy reading!
